What is Docker? Docker is software that lets you build, ship, and run any application, anywhere by packaging your code with its dependencies in a platform independent “container”.
In his talk, Will will talk about what Docker is, what uses cases Docker is good for, and tips on how to use/tweak/tune Docker. Boxboat is a Docker Consulting Partner and provides consulting and training services.
If you have any Docker related subjects you'd like Will to cover, please let us know beforehand and we'll see if he can accommodate us. If we’re unable to cover them, there will be at least 15 - 30 minutes after the talk for Q/A.
We will meet in the Seeley G. Mudd building, Room 106 (SGM-106), starting at noontime. The talk will start at approximately 12.10pm.
Please RSVP on this Web page (or email).
