James Martineau, Lead Automation Engineer at Harvard Catalyst will talk about his experiences with Selenium.
Selenium is an open-source framework for testing web tools, and one of the reasons for its popularity is the ease with which a tester can begin writing scripts that successfully interact with the browser. However, the simplicity of stringing together commands gives way to complexity after the first few tests are written. James will present some alternative approaches and guidelines to writing working code that stands the test of time.
